Roulette odds
The math behind roulette is simple but has one of the worst odds of all the casino games you can play. American roulette gives the casino an advantage of 5.26%. The different between American roulette and European is that the American roulette board has a double zero (00). European board doesn’t have it. Try to play on roulette games that only have a single zero. It gives you much better odds than the 5.26 that the American gives.

Surrender rule
Some casinos or casino games have a rule called ’surrender’. If the casino you play at has this rule you get much better odds than if it hasn’t.
The surrender rule works like this: If you play a bet that gives double money back like red/black, even/odd, high/low you will only lose half your bet if the ball falls on zero or double zero. The casinos advantage fall to around 2.63% at an American roulette board.
The numbers on a roulette wheel
I may seem that the numbers on the roulette wheel is placed in random, but if you take a closer look you can see that the numbers are placed in a certain way. Every second number is black and the other is red. Mostly every second number is even and the other odd. The numbers are also organized so that the sum in one section is equal as the sum in another section of the wheel.
